The terms you agree to when you use FIRSetu, and the limits of what this service can promise.
Last updated: 8 September 2026FIRSetu is an independent service that helps you find FIR (First Information Report) information that state police publish online. It is a discovery and access layer over public records. It is not a government website, a police service, a legal service or a news service.
By using FIRSetu you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
FIRSetu shows what the source portal returns at the time you search. We do not alter records, and we cannot guarantee that a portal is complete, current, correct or reachable. A search may return nothing because nothing was published, or because the portal was unavailable. The interface tells you which.
The service is provided as-is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
Nothing on FIRSetu is legal advice. An FIR is an early-stage police record, not a finding of guilt. If a record affects you, consult a qualified lawyer and rely on the official record obtained from the relevant authority.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FIRSetu is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, information found through the service. The authoritative record remains with the originating public source and should be relied upon instead.
We may add, change or remove features, including which states are searchable, as sources are verified or become unavailable.
