How it works
An FIR (First Information Report) is the record police create when they first log a complaint. Maharashtra publishes many of them online, and this is a faster way to reach them.
Start with the state, then the district, then the station whose records you want to see.
Use the last 15, 30 or 90 days, or set your own dates. If you already know the FIR number, add it.

State, then district, then the police station whose records you want, plus a date range, either one of the quick ranges or your own dates.
Your search goes to our API, which queries the state's own public site. Long date ranges are split into smaller windows because the portals cap how much can be requested at once.
Records from each window are combined, duplicates removed, and everything sorted newest first before you see it. If part of the search failed, we say so instead of quietly showing you less.
The PDF is fetched from the source only when you ask for it, and it is the file the portal returned, not a copy we generated.
An empty result means the police portal answered and had nothing published for that station in those dates. It does not mean no FIR exists. Records appear online only once the station publishes them, and some take time.
If the portal itself is slow or unreachable, FIRSetu says the search failed rather than showing you an empty page that looks like a real answer. The two are never confused.
